What is endometriosis ??

It seems like you’re referring to endometriosis, a medical condition in which tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus (called the endometrium) grows outside the uterus. Endometriosis is the condition in which endometrial tissue is found outside the uterus sometime it may be found outside of reproductive tract, gastrointestinal tract and even the lungs. This condition can cause pain, especially during menstruation, and sometimes leads to fertility problems.

Here are key points about endometriosis:

Symptoms

  • Pelvic pain, often associated with menstrual periods (but can occur outside periods as well)
  • Pain during intercourse
  • Pain during bowel movements or urination, especially during periods
  • Excessive bleeding during periods or between periods
  • Infertility: Endometriosis is sometimes diagnosed in women seeking treatment for infertility.
  • Fatigue, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, and nausea, especially during menstrual periods.
  • Form dysmenorrhoea- pelvic pain .
  • When endometrial deposite urinary tract- hematuria, dysuria, uterine obstruction.
  • When endometrial deposit in gastrointestinal tract- Dyschezia, cyclical tenesmus, rectal bleeding event obstruction.

Causes

The exact cause of endometriosis is unknown, but possible explanations include:

  • Retrograde menstruation: Menstrual blood flows backward into the fallopian tubes instead of leaving the body, causing endometrial-like cells to implant and grow.
  • Immune system disorders: A faulty immune system may fail to recognize and destroy endometrial-like tissue growing outside the uterus.

Diagnosis

Endometriosis is often diagnosed via:

  • Pelvic exam
  • Ultrasound
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  • Laparoscopy: A surgical procedure where a doctor looks inside the abdomen to identify endometrial tissue.

Treatment of endometriosis

  • Medications: Pain relief through non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and hormonal therapies like birth control pills, gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists, gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) antagonists and progestins.
  • Levonorgestrel
    • Co-administration- Omega 3 fatty acid, Vitamin D3, E and Calcium.
  • Surgery: In more severe cases, laparoscopy or more extensive surgery can remove or destroy endometrial tissue.
  • Fertility treatment: If fertility is a concern, assisted reproductive technologies like in vitro fertilization (IVF) may be recommended.

Note: I strongly suggested to you for treatment of endometriosis by removal these type of tissue with using surgery or laparoscopy. After that you should required some medication treatment for final cure.
